Cancellation / Refund policy

Partial or complete refund will be done under the following scenarios:

  1. In Confirmation email you will be provided approximate delivery time of the product. In case of the delivery is more than 2 hrs late and in case the customers refuses to take the product and asks for a refund, we will make a full refund.
  2. If the product received is found damaged at the time of delivery, or the customer raises issue with the quality of delivered goods then we will try to redeliver the product. If redelivering is not possible for any reason then a full refund will be made and the damaged product will be taken back. Make sure that the product is not fully consumed and leave aside a sample to help BookMyCake understand the issue.
  3. If the product is not up to the mark for reasons like bad quality, missing details or product damaged at the time of delivery then we are liable to making a partial/full refund based on the extent of error.
  4. Missed Deliveries: Under extreme and rare cases like bandh, heavy rains, extremely bad weather etc. if we are not able to make a delivery we will ensure that you are informed of our problem and get 100% refund of your money. No other claims apart from the 100% refund will be tenable.

Order Cancellation:

  1. Customer can cancel the order by calling BookMyCake Customer Care or by email to, 6 hours before the delivery time for orders uptoRs 1000. For any order above Rs 1000, cancellation requests will be taken 24 hours prior to delivery time.
  2. In case of cancellation requests of online orders, full refund will be made only if BookMyCake customer care is intimated well in advance (for timelines of cancellation see point 1 above).If cancellation requests are received in less than the required minimum time, then Rs 100 will be deducted as cancellation charges and rest of the amount will be refunded.
  3. In case of COD orders the customer needs to intimate BookMyCake customer care well in advance (for timelines of cancellation see point 1 above). However, the customer is not liable to pay for any cancellation charges.
  4. BookMyCake team may decide to cancel the order under the following circumstances:
    1. Unable to contact recipient or unavailability of recipient.
    2. Wrong address.
    3. Address found locked.
    4. Order placed is beyond our area limit of delivery.
    5. Extreme weather conditions, riots, bandhs etc.
    6. Unavailability of certain ordered goods.

In all above cases of Point 4, the customer will be notified by BookMyCake customer support team.
No refund situations:  We will attempt delivery of the items ONCE. Incase the delivery is not executed during the attempt, the customer shall still be charged for the order and redelivery may not be possible. The order shall be deemed completed and no refunds will be done under the following circumstances:

  1. Wrong Address: If the address provided in the order form are incomplete or wrong or belongs to a state or region beyond the city limits of Gurgaon or Noida. We will attempt to communicate with the customer via phone or email to get the correct address. In case the customer is not available or we don’t get a reply with the correct address, we will postpone the delivery till further communication and no refund shall be made.
  2. If the delivery premises is found locked or no recipient is available. Redelivery may or may not be possible in this case. Please contact BookMyCake customer care.
  3. If the customer cancels the order for any reason other than damaged goods received at the time of delivery.
  4. If the customer raises issues with the quality of the goods after 48 hours of delivery.
  5. Wrong phone number or Cell or Extension number not working/ no reply or not connecting/ not reachable and no reply on email and delivery is not done due to this.
  6. Product is delivered at the Gate/ Reception/ Neighbor.
  7. In case of floods/ Heavy Rains/ National Bandh we reserve the right to reschedule the delivery for another date. The customer may attempt a cancellation by calling our customer care. We guarantee our full support.
  8. Change in instructions will be entertained only before 5 hours of the estimated time of delivery subjected to acknowledgement by BookMyCake Customer support team.
  9. Delivery of certain items may not be possible/delayed under certain un-controllable circumstances such as product is not available in the market or discontinued by the manufacturer. In such cases, similar product, nearest to the description shall be delivered. Prior confirmation would be sought from the customer for the same through e-mail or call. However, if there is no response from the customer within 24 hrs., it shall be assumed that she/he has agreed to the delivery of the alternate product.
